Company Description

Children’s Literacy Initiative (CLI) is a non-profit organization founded in 1988 to enhance the opportunity for children from low-income families to enter school ready to learn and, once in school, to be successful in learning to read and write.  Because teacher quality is the most important factor in student success, CLI works to close the literacy gap by providing professional development in effective literacy instructional practices for principals, directors, reading coaches, and teachers of pre-kindergarten through third grade. CLI is committed to developing, sustaining, and recognizing excellence in every aspect of our operation.
